Sheffield Towne is a self managed Planned Unit Development under the management of a nine member Board of Directors.

Our primary goal is to provide a positive voice for the homeowners of Sheffield Towne. We would like to give the members of this community a website that is informative and purposeful. This would allow all homeowners to maintain an active role in their neighborhood. We want to hear what you have to say! Contact us!

Some of our concerns include (but are not limited to): Consistent, reliable services for EVERY home in Sheffield Town. This includes the general up-keep of all common areas, front lawns, Gutters, Concrete, Window replacement, etc.

Accessible, FREE, Electronic documentation of all Bylaws, Amendments, CC&R (Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions), Board Meeting Minutes, Community Bulletins, Parking & Guest Pass information, Services List, Board of Directors List and Contact Information. Want to see some great examples:

We are we NOT properly informed about Amendments!

CC&R (COVENANTS, CONDITIONS & RESTRICTIONS)

Access to, upon request, any previous years financial documents. This may also include information on contracted service providers (Garbage, Snow Removal, etc.)

As a Home Owner the only way I can see in writing the changes over the past 10 years is to PURCHASE a copy for $10. Shouldn't a home owner have FREE access to this information. Why isn't this information published for FREE... what are they doing?

I asked for a copy of the current Bylaws and for this Website and was refused by the board. WHY?

 They actually provide the BOARD MEETING MINUTES, see their Archives. I built and will maintain this Website at NO COST to the association or home owners. And have been trying o work with the Association Board for over 5 years. If you feel as though your HOME OWNER RIGHTS are NOT being met please contact us to TAKE ACTION. The time is NOW! Committees include a Maintenance, Architectural Control, Social and Recreation, and Finance. The committees advise the board on matters that pertain to each individual committee and performs other functions as the board directs. Additionally, it is the function of each committee to hear complaints from members and dispose of such complaints as it deems appropriate.

All meetings are held in the clubhouse at 1000 North Walnut Lane. The Board of Directors meet on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Committee meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. There are no meetings in the month of December. Meeting dates and times are published in the newsletter. All interested homeowners are encouraged to attend both Committee Meetings and Homeowner's Meetings.
